Only think that confirmed for me is that you are on an older version of Stencyl; consider redownloading it from the main page to get version 4.0.4. Logs seems to point to the custom block, but any more than that is beyond me. I'd try deleting the behavior and recreating it.
Thank you, I have downloaded Stencyl 4.0.4 and the problem is still there. I will try recreating the behaviour from scratch, it probably won't be too hard.

Ok basically I created a scene behaviour, something really bad happened, and now whenever I try to open and edit the behaviour or run the game it does an error and I can't open it

I was editing a behaviour. I tried to put a script that adds tiles to the scene into a custom block and this happened:

When I use the Ingredient 1 parameter, it prints "does not contains Dirt". I checked and I am pretty sure I typed "Dirt" correctly. I have not tried using the print block to print the crafting list, but I used the drawing function in game and it did display all the dirt correctly.

I am creating a crafting system using a custom block. You are supposed to be able to select ingredients from the inventory and then Press X to say you're finished and output the product. As a test you are supposed to be able to craft dirt into four tallgrass. It works if you replace the "Ingredient 1" paramater with "Dirt" for some reason, but not when you use "Ingredient 1", which is supposed to be the same as "Dirt".

I tried out actors, and without physics they do not lag much. Should I create one actor for each type of tile (stone, dirt, water) or one actor to cover all of them?

Aren't actors laggy? I am making a sandbox game and the entire world is made up of these.

I am making a game where you can collect tiles. Some of the tiles take longer to collect.
The collecting animation shows as a single animated tile over the tile that is being collected.
If you start collecting a tile and then quickly switch to collecting a different tile, the animation shows up on the latter but the progress stays the same and it seems to collect more quickly. How do I solve this?

ok then I'll add them with the Tile API and see how it goes

I'm using the Tile API to remove some tiles. For some reason, actors that walk over those tiles still collide with them. The code also acts as if they're still there, they just don't appear on screen.
