Hi, i've tried mediafire, googledrive, dropbox with the public setting for sharing but i couldn't get the player working. Anyone using it know any valid free web host for video to get it working?

Ask a Question / kill actor type in a region when key pressed

Hi, i want to make a based music game scene. I can't find any logic idea to make that. The scene consist in about 1.30 min of music where the animation of an actor will change when the arrow actor icon (up down left right) will reach a determinate region (it will start from up screen and it will go in the bottom), and the player have to press the determinate key when the arrow key actor is in a determinate zone. If the actor arrow key pass throught that zone (maybe make a double region to check if passed) or a wrong key is pressed, the main actor player will die.
For the timing i think i can manually set it by the "when created block" and lots of  "do after". Since i need to create an actor type i can't trigger any region in scene behaviour (becouse it need a present actor in scene). I'm going crazy :(

After i saved my project and i closed the pc, the next day when i have reopened it i have lost all of the scenes and actors behaviour. There is any way to let them return back?

Hi, i want to make an achievements scene in the main menù, how to make a text pop up, that show what the player have done to awarded it, appear on the actor that rapresents the achievement image unlocked when the mouse is over that?

i think to do that on "when drawing" block is almost impossible... maybe an actor that describe the achievement will appear when the mouse is over that image but it will be sticky in one position. There is any simple way to make the appeared actor to be and follow the mouse cursor while is the achievement image?

R:This is a fangame of a i wanna be the guy game so is intendeed to be hard (not impossible), i'm not responsable of any ragequit! LMAO

A: i'm 21 years old, and i'm beginner game developer and this is my first creation, i have lots of experience about flash games. I made this game alone (i didn't make the arts and the musics).

I'm working on a game that is a tribute to "i wanna be the guy" game. The first part with about 15 scenes is almost finished. Today when i'll return from university i'll load up only for stencyl for just 1 day of beta testing. The game is meant to be one of the world hardest flash game (but not impossible, i tried it and i finished ;) ). Since this is my first game and i'm nearly a beginner, if it get a quite success i can implement a system to include achievements, saving system, fixed guns' shots, maybe some personal art a stage select with a warp zone for levels and lots lots more ;D
so stay tuned!

I used the palette:

if this actor hit an actor
kill self

Ok perfect it work. But what to do, if i want that the actor who have the beahviour will "kill self" only if touch an actors group that i had created before and not for every actors.

How to make, in design mode, an input where i can select a region in the scene, to trigger an event (like moving a spike when the actor reach in a determinate region)? Like the switch scene behavour, where you can select directly the region.
