Dotunite is an abstract game where you need to connect dots in order. However, due to mines and a time limit, it won't be an easy task. How far will you connect?

-A game by Manuel Magalhães that reimagines the classic "Connect The Dots". Score the best you can!
-No "Pay To Win" system, only one App Purchase to remove the ads, if wanted.
-Available in English, Portuguese (European and Brazilian), Spanish, French, German and Italian.

I hope you enjoy it. :)

Ludum Dare 29 / Beneath Wireframe

Quote
Get as far as you can from the surface.
Protect yourself by entering shapes.

Control the dot with the mouse/trackpad.

Here's my Ludum Dare 29 entry. Overall it didn't went all that good compared with the last one, but it was somewhat refreshing finishing a game again with an interesting ruleset.

Chit-Chat / The New Year Thread

The Year of Luigi is ending in some parts of the world, in others it already ended.

So, did you liked it? What are your goals next year?

(I did not liked it, but it had good moments tho. My goals are: launch better games, launch the non-game related stuff I'm preparing, learn to animate and draw better, learn fully a programing language)

Old Bugs (1.x/2.x) / Scrolling + Repeat Background doesn't work

NT, it doesn't repeat if scrolling is set (it does repeat when the scrolling isn't set). Also the scrolling doesn't work properly on itself.

Chit-Chat / [ARC] DoDonPachi Saidaioujou
« on: February 21, 2012, 07:35:30 am »
They are doing a location test on an arcade center in Japan, but CAVE (the company behind it) usually ports its games to the Xbox 360 and to the iOS, so it might eventually end up there. There's some footage of it in here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fkXc_1Ch8c

For these unfamiliar with DoDonPachi games (or most games from CAVE) I'll give you a quick description about how these games are: They are highly polished STGs (aka shmups) with tons of bullets on the screen. They are very hardcore too.

The first STG I played AFAIK was the original DonPachi for the Playstation. I liked it very much but after that I didn't payed attention to the sequels until now, since I've been more interested in arcade games lately. From the footage and as expected from CAVE this sequel looks great, so I'll give it a shot (pun not intended) when it arrives to the west. :)

Chit-Chat / Best Chiptune Music
« on: January 18, 2012, 02:29:56 pm »
I was listening to the music of a NES/Famicom (NES' name in Japan) game called Gimmick! today and I was mindblown by it. So I decided to create a topic here about the best chiptune music you know. :)

So here's two tracks of it:
Gimmick! Music (FC / NES) - Good Morning [Introduction]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PdW6a77kEk

Gimmick! Music (FC / NES) - Slow Illusion
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qgoGV1TB6k&feature=related

(PS:If possible if you want to post a music from a NES game post the Famicom version instead. The Famicom has a better sound chip than the NES)

NT. Maybe not much of a bug, but it might be confusing for some, since importing a sprite makes the default 16x16 collision box to the sprite's size, when creating it from SW doesn't do it.
