That was my initial idea, but one of the features I planned was an ability to throw crates at enemies to disorient them, so you can attack/escape. It's just that I think it'd look better if it looked aimable

That was my initial thought. The problem then is some of the objects are crates that must be placed in order to past a high wall, and Stencyl doesn't allow you to swap items mid game

Hello, first time poster

I'm trying to make a game where the player character can pick objects up and drop/throw them. However, I'm having trouble having the object stay a set distance away.
If i make it try to follow mouse, the object ends up pushing the character about

Any ideas of how best to fix this?

I have a set up where a player must destroy a barrel to open a large door, and the physics all works, if not OOT. However, increasing the doors mass above 1 causes crashes. A mass of 20-50 will cause a crash whenever the player touches the door, and above 100, it'll crash after a few seconds
