I ran into the same issue and could solve it. The "iOS minimum version" under "game settings" - "versions" was higher then my simulator version. Lowering it helped and nothing was greyed out anymore.

Have been setting up all certificates. The iOS simulator is still greyed out  (using Xcode 8.3.3).

While building a blank game on my device with everything set up and provisioning profiles properly set up (I'm also able to find them installed in within xcode)  the  logs now tell  me that there is no matching provisioning profile.

Any ideas on this?

Edit: Another step forward - The iOS minimum version has been set to 10.3.1 by default in the settings and has been higher then the highest simulator version I ran, just lowered the minimum version to 10.0.0 and the simulator works perfectly fine now.

The provision profile issue is still not solved though..

2nd edit: Solved every issue now.  The development provisioning profile has been missing. Everything is working fine now.

I've had quite a long break now and wanted to start updating a few games that have already been on the App Store for quite a while. I upgraded to the latest Stencyl version and getting errors on every single game. Already tried to test a blank game, but I couldn't run any game either.
Also there is no possibility to test any game in the iOS simulator as the options are all greyed-out.

I guess the problem might be Xcode (which i've already updated).  The provisioning profile expired too, so I renewed it. But I'm still getting errors. I hope somebody can help, as I'm just getting into developing again.

And as you can see, that's how the 3x scale looks like, without reimporting all images.

Also with the black lines which I only get on iPhone 6 and 6+.
I guess that's a scaling problem.. Would be great to work in Full Scale mode like I did before.. But I guess that won't work anymore without a lot of extra work. :( Any ideas for a better workflow and some ideas to remove these black lines?

Seems like it generates the 3x files from the 1x scale. After importing an image again (after selecting the 3x scale) it  gets the 3x resolution, but it doesn't generate them right automatically.

I'm using "Full Scale" and enabled the 3x in the advanced settings and the mobile>display setting.

-> Seems like using scale to fit (Full Screen) helps to get the proportions right, but now I get weird black lines at the side of some graphics (as in the attached image) and the proportions are not like they used to be before.

At first none of my games would build on the 5.5" iOS simulator.
After I turned on the 3x scale I was able to build the game but the images were extremely low res like if it has been upscaled from 1x instead of using the 4x graphics I imported. I got the same problem on all my games.
Have been solving this issue by reimporting all the art again, but I guess that's not how it's meant to work, but at least it works. :D

Now the game starts and everything is crisp again, but the whole game looks like it has been zoomed out. All images are too small and quite offset.
Any help would be awesome.

So where do I need to insert this code exactly? Just wondering as I am experiencing problems with the 3x resolution as well and this may solve it.

You should tell people/share it to some fan bases on twitter/facebook.
I bet many would like to get this one once they know about it. :)

iPhone / iPad / Android / Impossible To Catch - A Free iOS Game

I just released "Impossible To Catch" a couple of days ago and it has already been listed quite high in some countries with thousands of players now. :)

Impossible To Catch is a game about catching a pen.
This sounds quite simple but it's a real challenge, so don't worry if you won't catch one at the beginning.

It would be awesome if you give it a try and rate it, if you like it. :D

Searching for a solution on this too. How did you get the button to work (except inserting the variable)?

Edit: Worked it out. Try it with the Text&Text Block. Added 2 of them to add the attribute in the middle of the link. If you like to add a hashtag too, just use "%23" (this will be a hashtag in your twitter share message then).

I released Tappy Cube a couple of days ago and the first update with 3 hidden character designs and a few fixes just came out now.

Tappy Cube is a great little arcade game with a small cube called "Tappy".

How it works:
Try to guide Tappy through as many moving stones as possible, while climbing up higher and higher.
Precision, timing, patience, thinking forward and so much more - in just One Touch.

It would be great if you would take a look at it and tell me what you like and what you would improve :)
And of course it would be awesome, if you would rate it, if you like it :D

Btw. the android version will come soon and just needs a few fixes  :)

No one?  :(

I have trouble installing the extension.
I can't see the extension anywhere inside Stencyl, after installing it.
Also editing the .plist file is problematic.
And now just gives me 3-4 lines of code after trying to edit it. :/

Tried the "custom Facebook share button" but can't get this to work either..
As soon as I typed in a title and summary, the links does not work anymore.
It would be enough for me for now, if I could get at least the share button to work.

Hope someone can help me..
