Shared Resources / Fake Raycasting Lights
« on: December 15, 2013, 04:54:52 am »
Here is something I was playing around with for a few hours. Its fake raycasting lightning that works with tiles. It only uses drawn polygons. Not that frame rate friendly, but still between 40 and 50 fps. Except for one line of code from the tile API it only uses block coding.

« on: November 30, 2013, 11:59:51 am »
I am working on a platform shooter at the moment and I have a first playable prototype. It is just a test level with 3 enemy types with some kind of AI. Here you can test it:

Arrow Keys: Move/Jump
Y or Z: Grenade (german <-> us keyboard)
X: Shoot

What do you think so far? Is the control smooth?

Just a small matching-game I made within a few days.

- Swipe over two or more neighbouring blocks of the same color to destroy them.
- Destroy more blocks at once to get more points.
- Destroy a "+2"-block to get some extra time.
- Destroy a "50"-block to get 50 bonus points.

Update 0.2:
- more time (+10 sec)
- new "+2"-blocks added
- the chosen path is more visible

Update 0.3:
- Removed "+1"-block
- Added 50-bonus-points-block
- Move back to choose a different path
- Tweaked point system
- Press Space to pause the game

Update 0.4:
- Added Leaderboard
- Press "M" to mute
- Press Backspace to delete local highscore
- Minor fixes
