Ask a Question / "Regions" are causing my game to be extremely slow
« on: November 02, 2015, 03:06:26 pm »
Hello all!
So, this is my first attempt at making my own game, it's a platformer-runner game, based on the endless runner demo/engine/tutorial, the game features two modes, one endless and the other is not-so-endless, levels-based.
Anyway, in the levels mode, I tried to make two regions where the camera speed would go slower, but the game gets too slow when I test it, and just freezes whenever I reach the region.  I tried making one region and it worked perfectly, whenever they are two,  it gets really slow.

Screenshots and logs in attachments.
Thank you for your time!
Yours,

Wow, amazing work, I've been following your progress on GAF ages ago :P , I really like your work and looking forward to play Ghost Song.
Any chance of it hitting PS VITA? I read that you'll port it to Wii U.. So?

Actually the PS Vita can detect touches normally as IOS(I assume) , and he'd need to buy PS Vita dev kit not just license , or become a PS Mobile licensed developer (you can sign up for free and receive the SDK )
but the question he asked was "can it export to C#?"
because the SDK work with C# only , if I'm not mistaken

Ask a Question / Re: Problem with character sprite animations...
« on: September 16, 2013, 01:25:46 pm »
hmmm ...
you need to adjust the spacing between the sprites when adding the sprite sheet to stencyl , it will show you a black grid-like lines showing the sprites that are going to be cut off separately , adjust it by editing the values on the left , or you can just cut the sprites by yourself using MS paint or any other program and then import them in stencyl .

Ask a Question / Re: some questions related to steam and online
« on: September 16, 2013, 02:03:43 am »
Thanks for answering my questions ...

I'm planning on getting the game published on steam (where the real sales are :P )
so i think i'll just skip the achievements part (and make it in-game ones)

thanks again .

Ask a Question / some questions related to steam and online
« on: September 15, 2013, 01:06:10 pm »
Hi,
I want to know if it is possible to do Online 2 (players only) multiplayer without hosting a server . Via steam Friends ... P2P , I know it involves coding but is it possible to connect it with steam ?

2nd question is related to steam too .. is it possible to make leaderboards which includes the highscores|fastest players list , based on their steam accounts ?

3rd question is it possible to add steam achievements to a game (.exe) made with stencyl ?

finally it's easy and possible to make in-game achievements and unlockables , right ?

I know ! a lot of questions , but I really need to know  .

thank you in advance .
