Resolved Questions / Moving Attributes

Can I move attributes up or down in the list of a behavior because I don't like how my new additions are at the bottom. Thanks for everything in advance Stencyl!

I got interested when I tried out starcrafts map editor years back for the first time it's whole trigger system was cool. I created a few maps and grew out of starcraft and then 1-2 years later saw game maker back in 6.0 and thought it was pretty interesting but I didn't like how they really limited the free version. I think its better now though. This year about a month and half after stencyl launched I joined because I saw it on kongregate.

Right now I have a behavior that detects when a single enemy comes within 100 pixels of my actor (a tower) and then turns towards them. The problem with this behavior is it only takes works with one type of enemy and I don't know how to change that besides duplicating the bahavior and changing a few attributes. I also want it so it targets the closest enemy actor possible because currently it targets a single actor until it dies and won't target anything else.

*Note the xswordman and yswordman are global game attributes which are linked to the x and y positions of enemy actor

I like to see some Tile API blocks instead of just the code option. Currently I have very very very little to no experience of coding. I need Tile API for making some destructible terrain since its either this or making it an actor which is too laggy for a mining game or some games with lots of destructible barriers.

Shared Resources / Random Walking AI for platformers

I've just created a AI for platformer games that allows for total (ok fine almost total) randomness on walking. There is random pausing times, random turns, and not quite so random speeds. All you have to do is put in the walking right and left and idle right and left animations and put the speeds.*Note the walking left speed has to be negative and the right walking speed has to be positive.

I can't seem to update my game yet i can extract a swf. Epic428 attempted to help me out on chat but he couldn't seem to solve it so told me to go onto forums. He's had me try adding more memory, rebooting my pc, and checking my logs. He also gave me the debug version and the problem seems i can't connect to the stencyl server yet i can connect to the website, chat, forums, and stencylforge so i'm not sure what the problem is. I have the logs if you need. Please help! Thanks! Although if no one can I guess I can always just make it and upload the swfs onto megaupload.

I would an autosave on stenyclworks. I usually forget to and only save at the end but powerouts, freezing computer, and some laziness sometimes messes me up. I mean how hard can it be to install an autosave every 5ish minutes

Im trying to use sensors to make enemies get hurt but you can walk through them still so can someone give me a tutorial for sensors or a brief explanation how to use em?

Paid Work / Pixel and Glow effects

Can someone show me an example on how to do this for a sprite. I want it to glow and explode into pixels when it dies.I hope this isn't demanding too much but I don't seem to know how to do it.

So how do you make a behavior that makes a actor run in one direction automatically while gradually gaining in speed as I'm trying to make a similar scene like canabalt. I've fiddled around with a copy of the walk behavior a few times but I just can't seem to do it. Could someone help me do it please? Thanks for all the support!

How do I put in a new animation because as of now it wont work except when i do the action while jumping. My friend told me I have to put it in the animation manager but I don't know how to. When I click the add button it shows me the add screen and it has 2 things to fill: a dropdown menu and something called a initial value. The dropdown menu has 2 options numbers or text. I have no idea what to do with that.

Game Title: Maplestory Alien Hunt
Details: You play as an alien trying to escape hideous people with guns after crash landing into unknown world which your sensors detect as Maple World? Your mission is to obtain enough parts for your crashed ship to fly back home to Earth.

Known Bugs:
If you fall off stage you have to delete game and restart Fixed
The shooting animation only works when you jump Fixed
The bullets kinda droop Fixed
You can move, jump, and shoot while being in prone/ducking/crouching.
