Text/number fields freeze Stencyl for long periods of time

When using the collision editor, I'm experiencing frequent freezes.

Video (note: the spinning beachball cursor shows up when it freezes, but I guess Quicktime doesn't like recording that)

I'm using the latest version of Java available to me (Java 8, Update 181) on macOS 10.13.4. This occurs on both of my Macs.

This bug is still happening for me.

In addition, it can happen in design mode too, just not as frequently, and the whole program usually hangs indefinitely, forcing me to force quit and reopen.

Video of it occuring in design mode. It happened exactly like this the first time I tried to assemble the print block, so when I quit Stencyl and reopened the game, I recorded me remaking it. Interestingly, as you can see from the video, it hangs briefly when I enter the - symbol into the 4th field, but freezes completely when simply clicking on the 6th field.

I should also point out that the third time I attempted to assemble this print statement (after I stopped recording), it didn't hang or freeze at all.

At this point, design mode freezes the program indefinitely at least once a day for me.

This is still happening consistently when changing focus to text/number fields in the interface, either by clicking on them or by tabbing to them. The good news is the Design Mode bug posted above hasn't happened to me in a while, so I assume it's a separate issue.

The game resolution fields will freeze Stencyl for around 45 seconds. Some fields only freeze Stencyl for a second or two. Others won't freeze it at all.

Here's another video. You can tell when it's frozen when the caret isn't blinking.

Still using the latest Java version on Mac.

Maybe it has something to do with retina displays? I've never hit this issue, and that's one of the things it sometimes turns out to be when I can't repro an issue on Mac.

It occurs on both my iMac (non-retina) and Macbook Pro (retina), so it's definitely not that.
