Great work for a first game!  I thought the mechanic was interesting, having to watch your character and watch out for which keystrokes to press as well.

That was fun!  A good simple mechanic.

We have finished our first game in Stencyl, "Ring the Bell"!

Ring the Bell is a challenging physics based puzzle game.  Place different tiles onto the grid to change the path of the ball in order to ring the bell!  There are 100 levels, separated into 10 different groups.  Each new group introduces a new game mechanic.

The game has now been released on:

-Android/Google Play:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sondoggames.ringthebell
-Stencyl Arcade: http://www.stencyl.com/game/play/42249
-itch.io: https://leichty.itch.io/ring-the-bell

We had a lot of fun learning Stencyl and putting this game together.

Ring the Bell is a challenging physics based puzzle game.  Place different tiles onto the grid to change the path of the ball in order to ring the bell!  This demo contains 3 groups, containing 10 levels each.  Each new group introduces a new game mechanic.  The full game will have 10 groups, for a total of 100 levels.

You can turn off sounds or reset your progress by clicking on the settings button on the start screen.

Click on the question mark to get information about the level, return to the main screen, or get hints.

Attached are some screenshots.

Very cool--horror is one of my favorite genres.  The sound and minimalist graphics/color scheme really drove home the creepy ambience of the game.
