when you use layers! works only if you create actors in design mode! atack them manually to screen on various layers! so the backgrounds actors will only show and colide with those who are on that layer it wont colide with  a layer above it! ex :  if you have layer 0 underneath layer 1 the players on 0 will react on that layer and will not show over layer 1 ! for a more example look at my game here! and see backgrounds apear acordanly with the layer arangement!

We have actors moving across the screen, when we click them we'd like them to stop moving, play their dying animation, then destroy the actor. Thanks.  8)

try that with x speed and y and also add line anchor to screen!  and or when mouse is released disable "your movement behavior for that actor" set x speed to 0 y speed to 0! it should stop!

and when you want to make it move again just give comand to unanchor or enable the bahavior ! :)

YES! this is the killer feature for me! will try out asap!

you could all try anime pro studio its same and you can find serial! dont encourage it! but its same software you can even draw you charachters in it with custom areas and modify them by adding points to make them form something, also has same ideea with skeletal movement as in spine! tryed spine its more work at it cause you have to always import your images from an external editor (as paint lets say) ! or atleast as i could see ! anime pro has same options and even more exporting power! then spine! you should do a extension for that but i think isnt needed cause you can export to .swf sprite sheets etc! almost everything the licensed version its only around40/70 $ not much ! the problem is that if you dont make more sheets for you char as in photoshop layers i mean ! you will get only a cinematic view also you can create 3d camera movement with it so you can make alot of work that its almost done in some 3d engines ! lots of tutorials check it out! and see ! me one i stick to anime pro for now later il go for blender / unity! :D hope soon!

in 2.2 when you go to events and create update /when created/ drawing  had some toggle boxes now they arent or atleast i dont have them!

see picture!

before it was usefull cause they helped when i created for a example a 1 time creation or add extra time/life if something = "num" now i cant togle the update or drawing to use it one time it continue loops and overfloods scenes with creations or with add at time or life!
and btw now drawing acts as update always loops ! and before it dident or i`m mistaken?!

if you can tell me how to go pass that or if it will be fixed in new release please do!

till then who can tell me how can i make this! behavior working without adding more then 1 time an item to some attribute Ex: when attribute = 5   create actor  at x y of scene , when actor dies will ad extra time if its in timetrial , and will add extra life when its in arcade!

But because "Drawing" / " update" dont have toggle button now if the attribute = 5 it will continue spawn the actor x y ! or if i set to draw will continue draw it! please need help  ,its the last part i need to complete my project and release My android game! many thanks! waiting for a respons assap!

is there a extension to make stencyl 3.0 show me those toggle sets?! or something?! cause i activated all kinds of extensions from forum but nothing worked! and couldnt see how to make it work !

and btw if i click where it should be the toggle it reacts as it there but i cant see the icon! so only makes a black color when clicked and only 1 time if i try to click it again doesnt do it anymore! 

please help it made me eat my cat food!   :'( :-\

hy there i see most of stencyl users do they`r animation frame by frame with photoshop or other softwares these days found out some software that are child`s play , to say so :
1. its spine engine! easy to use and good quality
2. its Anime Pro studio 9.5 you can download and buy here trial or pro version   (con : lower quality then spine ! but you can add your images to it also! if you want better graphics! and use only bone structures to make them move!  / pro  : bunch of tutorials and easy learning softwares , you can find alot of tutorials as easy in 10 steps to learn on diferent videoportals! ) 

posted for now only this 2 ! after i finish my curent game il test more but for now i think this 2 softwares are good for starters that want to make fast animation and import them to stencyl, you can export to many formats as .swf, full png , gif , youtube , ios, and even android video files! enjoy ! i`d like to hear more softwares you use that helps you alot doing games!

P.S for sound i use audacity , recording and editing , morphing sounds, pretty easy to use , and verry usefull!

I was just looking for that future to disable please plase a togle in settings or something! to stop popup folder when you export/publish not to always popup the folder where you just exported / published your files! it`s annoyng! and uses lots of memmory when you export many files 1 by 1 , and if we are at this poin! can you add multiselection export for files inside game?! cause i got this bug when i export a game and when i importing it back and run test the flash window open up but i can see only a white image cause in logs cannot finds the last place files that game where generated or if by mistake deleted as i think i did!
and exporting those files and importing in a new game ! will solve the issue like a manual backup! it will be usefull to go pass the problem with white flash image! . i do that anyways just it takes more time and the popup folder just keeps counting! and on win 7 x64 eats alot of ram memmory and makes my stencyl go to 90% usage always after i export like 20 actors 1 after each other!
but that i fixed with a bath file found on stencyl forums! just the multiple export will be nice and popup to block it and also want to report a bug! when i use example : when "attribute " =  some number  > create actor type or set "attribute2"  to attribute 2 + 1 it loops as i use always activated! i want to increase that only 1 time! i was able to do that in always with the toogle mark but seems in 3.0 that mark for loop it doesnt show! ! please fix this problems!

when stencyl shows you its at 99% usage! then you will get that bug with the actor spawning in other area if you put in scene like an asset! to avoid that just go to events on scene and create next lines:
when created : spawn recycled or create actor at x y ! and you will avoid that bug!

dont know what are the minimum requirements! or how this games are running html 5 or normal?! cause its bugging me off and alot of users! when you publish your game on a html2.0 you get huge lag even ex" 1 char + 2 coins" a browser compatible or smth! or maybe its from a stencyl signature cause when i publish and try to play the games/ i get huge i mean huge lag "ex : click delay 2 seconds then char moves!"

i need a kit for timemanagement game!  to set tables /fire /hire/people/ make them do some jobs/create smth at tables/ scoring in time! eventualy at end of " month / day" to have production of "1-100 = games/cupcakes etc!" and quality products!
