Which version of Haxeflixel does Stencyl use ?

Hello Stencylers. I know this is a duplicate of my report in the issue tracker but I haven't gotten any replies for two days and I really need this bug fix.

Anyway I have my display : 1920 x 1280
and when I test the game as windows this happen :

Yeah it strange.

-The top bar is totally indented up top ,   
-the whole bottom of the screen is up on half of the screen
- cannot move the window..
- The

Right now I'm running as no scaling and full screen mode disabled. The white screen is not a bug. well and nothing changed.

So one of the disadvantages of Java is that the code could be written in any way. This makes it hard for other to share and read each others code. However does this only happen by Java or by all compiling programming languages?  Does it happen by Haxe ?

Hello :) ! So my game uses a lot of buttons and other UI features. However I'm not such a good artist when I try using a editor the Images sometimes come out too small or to outlined or the words aren't aligned correctly.  So I'm searching for a program which you can download and create button, banners, icons, logos etc.  All these can be created simply by filping the switches. The closest thing I found to what I was looking for is Kenney Studio. Kenney says he plans to add in the feature but I don't know how long it will take ( . Of course their are a few online programs but I have no clue where these people are getting their resources and are  they legal or not. So I continue my search, any suggestion ?

This is what I want the button creator to have ability :

Set color
Text color and font on button
position ( pressed , poping out , etc)

Hello! I've complied a list of all the notable changes, enhancements, planned suggestion, planned bug fixes and already fixed bug for the stable version of 3.4. It took me over a hour to organize and compile.

Note : This list will be updated as more reports of suggestions and bug fixes are fixed and confirmed.

Stencyl is a wonderful program that is works on Linux, Windows , and Mac. However ever since Microsoft's new operating system which we all know as Windows 10 there have been repetitive bugs reports about testing or publishing files as a Window File. So I have created this guide to help users fix these bugs.

Note 1 : None of these bugs concern the actual Stencyl application. These bugs are usually concerning Visual Studio or the way permission files and harddrives are set on W10.

Note 2 : So of these bugs also happen on Windows 7, through most of these error only happen on W10, one of the most common ones also happens on W7, error 1#.
Request to Mods:  I think this is a very useful and important topic concerning troubleshooting bugs on Windows. So I'm requesting a sticky mark, I'm sure it will help a lot of users, thanks !


Error #1 : Process creation failure : cl.exe

Important Note : This bug has occurred on Windows 7

This is a bug concerning Windows Visual Studio.  The reason this bug occurs is because the language c++ tools arn't installed in VS2015 by defult. Were going to install them.

How To Fix :

Step 1:  First go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features and select VS2015.
Right click it and select change .

Step 2:  A window of Visual Studio should open up, select modify.

Step 3: Select Features > Programming Languages > Visual c++. Then check off the box that says
Common Tools for Visual C++ 2015. Then click Update.

Step 4: Restart your computer then your all set. Open Stencyl and your ready to try out your game !

Error #2 :  Uncaught exception - std@sys_create_dir
This bug is a real twister. It took me a a week to figure out how to fix this. But for you it should take no time at all because you have got a guide! This bug concerns W10  permissions with appdata. But remember to fix this bug you must follow these instructing very carefully because they concern and hold all your workspace data.

Important Note : If you are a administrator then  this error won't occur.

Step 1 : Uninstall Stencyl
Step 2 : Reinstall Stencyl BUT WAIT !!! This time install the Stencyl directory in a different location. Look below .
Step 3 : By default the directory should say OS C: / Program Files / Stencyl . But click on the browse button instead. Select OS, then users, then your user, then Document. Click Ok and next.
Step 4: After Stencyl is done installing click Exit not run Stencyl.
Step 5 : Go to Document and create a separate folder called S-workspace.
Step 6: Open Stencyl
Step 7: Click on the tool bar and Preference or press Alt- Enter
Step 8 : Select Workspace and then workspace folder.
Step 9: Click on the little arrow and select Choose Folder.
Step 10 : A file explorer should open up, select document and then click on S-workspace and then select OK.
Step 11 : A Stencyl dialog box should pop up asking you would you like to copy all data to this folder, select yes. This data transfer may take some time like 10 Minutes.
Step 12: Once the data transfer is complete close and reopen Stencyl, try testing your game.

and then your game should work just fine!

Note : The first time you test a windows game may take some time like 7 min.

Hello, I have a few questions  concerning full screen mode.

1. If I set the settings as "Start in full screen"  do I need to also set the display as 1920 x 1280 ?
2. If I set the settings as "Start in full screen" do I need to set the scene size to  60 x 40 ( tiles ) ?

Hello, is it possible to have users scrolling vertically with a  in the game in a scene? I've seen the listboxes kit but its not what I'm looking for.  In the listbox kit there a created list boxs which allows you to scroll through them but the scene view never moves. What I want is the user can scroll with a bar vertically in the scene allowing the user to view the top then using the scrolling bar viewing the bottom.

The ability to create folder for game attributes and move game attributes into them ( in the setting > game attributes). Some games could have like 50 game attributes so with folders it will be east to keep them organized.

Hello Stencylers :) ! So I'm working on a game where you can place tiles with your mouse and create creations. This game uses the Tile API. However I want it to save, so when I return to the scene everything is still there. However this is very complex. I tried to do it that it "redoes" the action so that where ever I place a tile it will always place a tile there (forever). The problem with that is that when I leave the scene all the code is reloaded and there is no tile left anymore so there is nothing to place more tiles over. Does anyone have any other solutions to saving with the tile API ?
