I don't think so, but I also don't think apple allows it. Every app is supposed to be a self-contained sandbox (excluding access through APIs). But as an alternative, you could put a folder on a server and use the web requests blocks to share info between two games.

I used to sell a lot of flash games to Addicting Games, but this was years ago when they were owned by Nickelodeon. They always offered decent money for sitelocks. They were p easy-going and pleasant to work with. Again though, this was a while ago, no idea if things are different there now.

I read this the other day and I love that people have been saying "flash is dead" for years but apparently "dead" means "still makes more money than HTML5, but the gap closed a lil bit"

A bump because iOS 10.3 introduced a new, streamlined way to rate apps, which I'd love to see in Stencyl.

Basically it's a pop up that you can call to be shown and players can rate your game without ever leaving the app at all, p cool.

I love this extension but I'm having some issues using it to set up a timed event. I can get as far as grabbing the current timestamp and subtracting the last saved timestamp but I can't figure out where to go from there. Could anyone point me in the right direction to get an "if 3 hours have passed, do something" action working?

Also, displaying a timestamp converted from milliseconds to anything else tends to look like "5.00384739" w a ton of action after the decimal, a way to not have that show up would be great too (I only need hours and minutes as round numbers)

What do you mean? How do you make them? It's just Revolute joints attached to the floor and the arms.

Hello I am making HOOPSMACHINE in which you break blocks while trying to get a ball into a basket by controlling the mighty arm of the HOOPSMACHINE. When a basket hits the floor it's game over.

there's a WIP demo HERE, check it out.

So far I've got the core loop, which essentially means you can score points and lose. Next I plan to add blocks to the tower that change the gameplay, power-ups like multi-balls and things like that, to see how weird I can make this thing.

I've been doing my best to tweet as much of my progress as possible, because I think this jam is a really cool way to get people into Stencyl. I'm @folmerkelly come hang out :)

Nope, Stencyl does not offer that functionality and I'm very salty about it.
