When I try to change the preferences of the program, I get a weird box and it does not allow me to access the preferences.

In case the image can not be seen, the error box says the following:
Unexpected Problem
Ouch, this should not have happened! Please report this error on the forum.
* Describe in which situation this error occured.
* Be as specific as possible. Provide steps on how to reproduce the error if you can.
* Generate and attach your logs.
I already uninstalled and reinstalled the program once or twice and the problem is not fixed. Why is this happening? Can somebody help me please?
