Split from another thread, so some of the posts might not make 100% sense- this was on a thread about quotes from the stencyl chat, and I posted one about warzone's opinion on other animals and their usefulness, it got into a debate and tada, here we are.

Humans are also the reason for environmental destruction, which is a very real problem, and both by destroying habitats and killing over 150 billion animals a year for food, they are not very useful to the good of the world and others.

<warzone>: If humans never existed, only canivors would exist, and the world would be a constant struggle for survival for all species!!!!!!!

Chit-Chat / Free Game Assets

For either tweeting about it or doing a facebook post about it, you get "over 700 game assets including 9 complete fonts and 160+ sound effects by the game community for the game community."
I downloaded it, and there's a lot of good art. There's art for puzzle games, platform games, and more. You can use all of the assets for commercial use without royalties or giving credit (They say credit isn't necessary but it'd be nice).

This error pops up. It was in spanish (the first line) but I translated it to english, so it may not be exactly as it is in english. Still should give the basic idea of why it's not working though.

Old Bugs (1.x/2.x) / My game went to an old save.

My game simply, well, went back to an old save. In the folder, everything's up to date (I have the latest scenes, behaviors, etc.), but in stencyl, everything's from over a month old-Don't have the new behaviors, all of the new scenes are missing, and all of the behaviors and scenes that I modified from then are shown in their old version.
EDIT: Joe's been helping me by mail, and it seems as if I can't get my behaviors back without editing a .xml which I don't really understand, so I guess I'll have to redo all of the behaviors. Well, that sucks.

It's finally finished, after 4 months of work. Hope you all enjoy it!

Ask a Question / Too many collision groups?

There's probably another question like this around here, or there's a really simple thing I just didn't see, but I have a problem.
I have around 25 collision groups, and some of them don't show in collision groups (It only shows around 22). One I need it to collide with can't, because I can't choose that.

(I have a Blue NPC collision group, and a Blue Flag collision group, for a capture the flag mode in a game I'm making. In the NPC collision group, in game center, I can't choose the flag, because it doesn't appear in the list, because I have too many.)
Is there any way to scroll down or something?

Game Ideas / Dragons Stole My Candy (Near completion!)

Hey. JemDkyl and I are making a game. It's a rougelike dungeon themed game. I know there's a lot of those lately but I'm trying to make this one unique. It's called "Dragons Stole My Candy". You play as a hunter (bow and a few magic skills), and in the beginning of the game, a dragon steals your candy and you venture into the dungeon that he's in to get your candy back. There's spiders, skeletons, necromancers and, of course, dragons in the game, excluding a couple of enemies without real names.
It has an upgrade shop, beginning and ending cutscenes and cheats. It had a deathmatch and a Capture the Flag feature, but we decided to discard them.
It has sprites by the great Oryx (Same sprites as in Realm of the Mad God), approved by the mad god himself, tiles and lava by Stencyl's own Cucumkid and music by Kungfufurby, who made some really great tracks.

I've been making a game, and there are 5 characters, all with different traits. There's a problem-Without animation manager, the characters move, but don't show the proper animation. With it, though, I can't use the animations that aren't in the list.
I don't really know how to use it, so... How do I add an animation to it, so it doesn't block out the animation and keep it idle?

Ask a Question / Walking animation not working, yet walking does

I have Jumping, On Ground, yet no animations work. The Jumping animation doesn't work, nor does the Walking work. It still jumps and walks, though. The actor's on tiles.

I've made plenty of (Unpublished) games before, and this never happened. I'm really not sure why. I'm sure the answer is really simple, and I'm going to look like a complete noob, but I can't figure it out.
Help, please?
