Nice! I really like the graphics and tune. (Where did you get the song?)

Thanks, trl0731!

Yeah. I'm looking at trying to put a timer on the game.

You're one of a handful of people that have worked out that trick!

Cheers again, for the feedback. Glad that you're enjoying the game.

Fair play. Those animations are stupidly good!

Cheers, trl0731!

It's always great to get feedback.  :)

I can understand some of the frustration, when it comes to the tutorial message. The jury was kinda split 50/50, during the BETA stages.

Originally, I only showed the message on the opening screen. But lots of people didn't bother looking at it, then got stuck.

I then added it to the very first go. But, again. People said that they were still unsure.

Doing it this way meant that everyone understood how it was done. As there's only a couple of times that you can ignore it, before you pay attention to it.

But, obviously. There are a few people that aren't a fan of it showing before every go.

It's something that I'll definitely look into - as I need to sort out a replacement to the share button, anyway.

*TIP* The shorter the line - the harder the shot.  ;D

Thanks again!

I uploaded my game to Android and iOS, yesterday.

I've had lots of people telling me that they've had problems with sharing. I've just tried and it's the same with me.

It seems to only take a screenshot of the top left hand corner. So it's not showing the score, high score etc.

Can you beat the goalie? Go 1-on-1 with him and find out...

The most convenient game of football, is now on Android & iOS! Play 24/7, whenever, wherever (within reason).

You are up against the best goalkeeper, in the league.  See how many goals you can put past him.

Hey, everyone! Today is the official launch day. So, it'll be interesting to see the figures etc.

Many thanks to LIBERADO and THX1138666 for helping me out with this project.

I'd appreciate it if you could give it a download and let me know what you think.  :)

When you're installing the new Chartboost extension. Is it ok just to go to Extensions and add the new version?

That's what I've done before. I wasn't sure whether you were supposed to deactivate or remove the old version, as the new version seems to overwrite the older version.

All worked fine?

Ask a Question / Creating a "Rate" button...
« on: May 31, 2015, 05:46:44 am »
Hey, I've been using a submit button on my iOS game. But, as there's problems with saving/loading on Stencyl's private builds - I've chosen to use 3.3 over a private build w/ Google Play Services.

So, I need a button to take it's place and I was thinking about using a Rate button.

I haven't used one before. Would I be right in thinking that you would just add an Open URL block when the button is pressed and set the URL to your game's Google Play URL?

Would that work? Or is there a better / more efficient way of doing it?

Argh! I submitted my game to iOS, on Friday with Chartboost Interstitials and Rewarded Videos.

Are these crashes frequent enough to warrant me pulling the game and submitting a newer version, when Rob fixes the extension?

Great stuff! Thanks, Rob.

Cheers, Liberado!

Puts my mind at ease...

Hey, guys.

Just wondering, as I submitted my game last night. Within some of my events/blocks. There were comment boxes. Just to clarify where certain things were, why they are there etc.

Part of me is wondering if I should have taken them out. Will they have any affect on gameplay (lags etc?)

Just out of interest. As I submitted my game to iOS, last night with both Chartboost static interstitials and Rewarded ads.

I chose "Does include Advertising Identifier" and only ticked the first box (this app serves ads - or something like that). Then mentioned in the notes about the type of ads that will be shown.

Submitted it last night, but panicking whether I answered correctly.

Not sure if what I chose was correct, when integrating Chartboost...
