Suggestion Archives / Attach Behaviors to multiple scenes at once

I'm currently working on a metroidvania Game. This means there are a lot of different small scenes. There currently about 200 Rooms. So if I create a new Behavior for a scene I'd have to go through all those scenes individually and add it one by one.
It would be very handy if you could attach a behavior to multiple scenes at once.

I don't know why but whenever I try to add a value to a local list I get a null pointer exception. It only happens with Local List NOT with the Game Variable List. Is this intentional? Or am I doong something wrong?
I'm on Build 8678

Fixed Bugs (3.x) / Project completely broken on Build 8570

Since I updated to the newest Build I get so many error.
My game worked perfectly before but now I keep getting "Unknown identifier : index" on every loop I implemented in my game. It is very weird. Clean Project didn't work.

I'm on Build 8570.

Bug Archives / Image gets darker when edited

When ever I edit a Image, save it and look at it in the Animation GUI it get a little darker. I have this problem since i'm working on a Mac.

Suggestion Archives / Console Support

Hi there Stencylteam

At the moment Stencyl doesn't support any consoles. It would be a really nice addtition if we could create games for Consoles like PS4 for example.  :D I know that this means a lot of work but I think it would be worth it. There are many Console Developers out there and Stencyl got a lot more attention from them.

Suggestion Archives / Change Collision Groups with Events

When I get hurt by an enemy, I want to change the collision group for my character so that I can walk through an enemy without colliding.
This is just an example. ;)
It would be really nice if you could change the collision group  in Events.

Suggestion Archives / Advanced Game Center Use (Matchmaking)

At the moment we can set up Leaderboards and Achivements using Stencyl.
It would be nice if we could also use the matchmaking API from Game Center.
This would allow us to create real-time online games.
I hope Stencyl will add more Game Center related stuff in the future.

iPhone / iPad / Android / Deep Space War 2.0 is out

I've done a tone of work between the last Update ;D
The new Features in Deep Space War 2.0 are:

- New Space  Ship Menu
- 3 New Space Ships with different stats
- A new Laser Weapon
- You can now color your Ship how you desire
- New Sounds and Musics
- And of Course Bug Fixes ;)

Hello everybody
I created a iOS Game which is similar to one of the old retro space shooter games.
You're in a Spaceship and defend yourself from enemies.
To make the game more interessting I add the ability to upgrade your ship and weapons.
The main ship also earns EXP while destroying other ships. You can spend Exp to improve the Max Hp, Max power, Speed...
You steer your spaceship with the tilting of the device.

I love Stencyl it changed my life.
It made the programming so much more fun and easier.

iPhone / iPad / Android / Curse of Time (iOS)

After over a year of work i'm finally done with my project.  :D :D :D
The game is now also my school project.
When i started with the game I was just 14 years old and I had no idea how to program.
Now over a year has passed I finally have a product.
It's amazing to see how I learned every day something new about programming.
It spent thousands of hours working on this.
But I enjoyed it  :D :D :D .

The game has many RPG-elements, like leveling up, acquire new skills and upgrades, Equipment- System and much more
The Atmosphere of game is kinda like Castlevania.

The only problem i had is:
I had to shorten the game, because i still had to write the whole documentation about my game.
I had a deadline.
The whole game will be available sometime in the future as an update.

Sorry for my bad english i'm from switzerland  ;D .

Suggestion Archives / Set Collisions for each Frame

Hello everybody.
Right at the moment i'm programing a boss with a huge hammer smash as an attack.
The problem is the hammer is attached to the actor's Animation so it's almost impossible to set the collisions
when he smash the hammer on the Player, the player gets hit as soon as the animation starts. If I could set each frame with a different collision it would make things a lot easier.
Setting Collisions for each frame individually can also be used for many other things.
It's especially useful for handling the collisions of enemies.

Sometimes i want to draw something behind actors or on a specific layer. It would be nice if there would be a block called
draw text() on layer with id().

Old Questions (from 1.x/2.x) / Game crashes on iOS inside the preloader

I spent the whole day to get rid of compiling errors while building the game in Xcode.
after 4 hours i solved every error. Then I test my game in the Ios simulator and it crashed during the  Preloader.
I have no idea what i did wrong. I spent another hour to search for the problem. But i didnt found anything besides an error message: Error: *** -[NSMutableArray
could someone give me an advice ?
