Ask a Question / Re: Making your game look great on iPhone 5,6,6+
« on: January 22, 2015, 12:43:15 am »
I came on here to ask the same question! Did you ever figure this one out? Or did anyone? I'm about to start my first iPhone game since 4S (and making all my backgrounds and sprites based around 960x640) and I don't know what resolution to make my backgrounds in order to work with the latest iPhone models.

Someone help! :)

Game Art / Re: Animating where should one start ?

I actually have a great answer to this. Do a google image search for "sprite sheet". You'll see pictures like this one:

Animating a character is simply a matter of creating each frame of the character's movement separately and then stringing them all together. So by using examples like the one above, you can draw your own characters in several phases of a movement and combine those images in Stencyl for a successful animation.

I sent my payment earlier today, and I was wondering how I will know when everything is processed and finalized. I'm guessing something obvious will happen, or that some form of message will let me know, but just in case, is there a quick simple way to check on the status of my pro license acquisition?

Thanks!
