Ask a Question / Blank test runs but with error

Game nearly finished. I am running a blank screen test...no actors, no behaviours. When I attempt to run the blank screen test under "iOS device" within Stencyl the "Launch your app" displays and the blank screen test does display immediately. After closing the "Launch your app" window, an error prompt appears with instructions to post logs. I'm hoping to sort this issue before I go further. Help gratefully accepted.

I have followed the Stencyl guide for testing on an iOS device up to the stage where the instructions describe the creation of a blank screen test.  Xcode 8.2.1 with all simulators and documentation have been downloaded and installed, in addition to the verification of my developer account within the preferences menu of Xcode. My iPhone 6 is recognized in Xcode when attachted. When I attempt to run the blank screen test under "iOS device" within Stencyl I end up with an error and instructions to post logs. I have tried to find an answer online without success. I have no background in coding but thanks to Stencyl I have been able to create a game that runs well on flash player.
