Hi,

I'm making a game (universal app). So I have a bigger background than the size of the screen (480x320) so a little more of the background gets to be seen in an iPhone 5 or iPad. But Stencyl aligns the background to the upper left corner. Is there a way to make Stencyl center the background?

Hi,

I'm making an app using Stencyl, and I was wondering if there is a way to make my app switch to the phone app and make a call.

Is any way to do this in Stencyl?

Hi,

I recently upgraded to 3.1 and I was happy to see and use the new scale mode: Scale to Fit (Full Screen).

Maybe it's me, but it doesn't seem to work properly.

As far as I understand, it works exactly like letterbox but without showing black bars. Instead of the black bars a little more of the game should be showed (more background most of the time).

But when I tried it in my game, it didn't work that way. I attach some pics of my game both in letterbox with black bars and Scale to fit (Full Screen). Can anyone tell me if I'm understanding this new scale mode wrong or if it's actually an issue with this scale mode?

I crate an actor that at the moment it's created I tint it and fade it. But some how the fade block overrides the tint block so my acto fades but doesn't tint.

Does anyone one who to fix this.

Solved.

The problem was a mistake typing my .p12 file password.

I get this error : Program /usr/bin/codesign returned 1 : [: no identity found
When I try to publish my iOS game.

I checked and my Certificates are still valid, and I'm sure I exported the correct distribution and provisioning profiles to Stencyl.

I was exporting the .cer certificate.

I opened Keychain and exported my certificate in to a .p12  file but I got the same result :(

I'm totally clueless about it.
 
Has anyone had this problem before and solved it?

Please help.

I agree . I used to be a Gamesalad user and before moving into Stencyl and tables are the only thing I really miss from Gamesalad. If Stencyl had 2D lists it'll be the perfect engine for me.

Is any extension that will allow us to display text on an actor with an image coming soon?

Any chance for 2DL lists as game attributes? I'm a  language teacher and develop games with a lot of text. I use a lot of lists as game attributes and 2D lists as game attributes will make development way easier for me.

Since Im already here what's the maximum size  for a list?

It doesn't seem to work. I get this message when I try to convert a game list into a 2D list

"Events for 'TextBox3' (57) -  Invalid assign"

Can anybody help me out on this?

Hmm, I never considered this to be used with Game Attribute Lists. I'll look into it tomorrow and see if I can make them compatible.

I have the same problem and I haven't found and answer yet :(

The only work-around I got is to change the actor animation accordingly but it's not practical at all :S

Wish list:

The text doesn't rotate when an actor does with the current label behaviour. I will really appreciate if the built in label behaviour supports that in 3.1
