If you want help it's probably not a good idea to insult the people who are trying to help you.

well he was not helping he said nothing of use  he was just trying to bully me because i am a novice  if he had said something that actually helped and wasent an insult basicly calling me an idiot for not knowing something this complex i would have thanked him even given him a spot in the credits to be fair but he decided to be mean long story short i give what i get

In Enemy death code add:

Upon [actor] dies:
set [Player Exp] to [Player Exp] + [Mob Exp]


And actor beh. :
Upon [Player Exp] = [NeedExp]
set [Player Level] to [Player Level] +1
set [Need Exp] to [Need Exp] + n

Have you completed any of the tutorials yet? Watched/followed through some of the videos? You need to have a grasp of the basics in order to be able to tackle something of this magnitude. If I make a step-by-step example to follow I've done all the work for you and you'll have learned nothing - and if something breaks or you want to change it you'll have to have me do it for you.

you mind not being so snipy about it i am only asking a simple question how to make a level up system so get off your soup box dude if everybody used the logic you are describingpeople  would be throwing kids into the deep end of pools and letting them drown to try and teach them to swim so just freaking help okay

Altwinggames is pretty much spot on. You're going to create several number attributes (I suppose these should be Game Attributes so they last throughout the game and not just one scene) that are each one of your player's abilities.

JumpPower, AttackPower, etc.

And then just increase their value when the player crosses a threshold. You could, for example, keep track of how many times the player has jumped (with another attribute) and then watch for it to cross a specific value (every 100 times, etc) to increase the JumpPower attribute. Of course, doing something with the attribute means that you'll change the jump ability of the player based on the values that they have in their levels I assume.

alright but i would like to know exactly how to do that you know step by step simce i only started with stencil a few weeks ago and thus have no idea how to sdo what you propose

well okay heres the thing  the player in my new game  will have many transformations and i need to be able to let them keep which ever one they picked up in other scenes with out them having to find them over again and i cant just have multable identacle stages with each transformation at the starting point because there is alot of transformations  and this project must be to a curtain memory size . so any and all help will  be GREATLY  apreciated since this is a very impotant part of the game  (to the point of being given a spot in the credits for your help) thank you so very very very much for any help you can give me

well you see  i just started making games and i need to make a behavier for transformation i found the code for  one here but then i realized i dont know how to use  code mode  and as far as i can tell the stencylepedia dousent explain code mode  so i cant tell were im sopposed to put the code and so im a little over welmed if someone could explain it a little that would be appreciated oh and in uh small words please i tend to get frazzeled

before i forget here is the code i need to makde into a behavior

create [Transformed Actor] at [x of self] [y of self] at [Front]kill [Self]
