You can contact them via these emails: tips@toucharcade.com and news@pocketgamer.co.uk. Just a quick outline and a trailer if you have it will do.

Hey Robin! Just a quick note about using the Vungle extension within a Heyzap. When you close the odd ad, the screen remains black and the game doesn't return. Like I said, it doesn't happen all the time, just on certain ads.

Thanks! Hopefully North America and Asia follows suit. It seems Canada is now doing the same staggered release schedule as the US.

iPhone / iPad / Android / FlipChamps Reloaded, Aug 3rd in iOS
« on: July 28, 2017, 08:36:10 am »
Hello all! It’s been a pretty busy year so far. Outside of working with colburt187 on Golf Zero and Touchdowners, I decided to a revisit and refresh my 2015 game FlipChamps. The result is FlipChamps Reloaded. See below for some coverage:

http://toucharcade.com/2017/07/06/flipchamps-reloaded-trailer/

http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/FlipChamps+Reloaded/news.asp?c=74632

If anyone has played the original, the game is essentially a simplified, fast-paced fighting game. You race to collect your orbs to fill your attack meter. Once it’s full, you can launch an attack at your opponent in an endless arcade mode, a championship tournament mode and against a friend on same-device multiplayer.

The main reason I chose to revisit the idea is I felt the first game wasn’t a complete enough package a few months after I released it. Instead of changing the original, I decided to start from scratch and give it a visual overhaul, while adding more characters with unique attacks to play as. I’m happy with the results!

When the above stories were published, I hadn’t settled on a release date, but the game will be released on August 3rd for free with an IAP to remove adverts.

Toolset Extensions / Re: byRobin Toolset Extension (3)
« on: July 20, 2017, 07:24:15 am »
Yup, it's up to date. This only happens when I use Applovin on its own (on Android in this case). The extension still works fine, error free, within a HeyZap setup.

Hey Robin! Would there be any reason for the Toolset to be causing Android builds to fail? Not saying it's the culprit, but I didn't have a problem until I installed it, and after any combination of cleaning my game and reinstalling the Android SDK, Stencyl seems to fire the same error at me. I can build for iOS no problem. Any ideas?

We're pretty happy with how it all came together!

Odd, I'm able to unlock it every time.  I can't count how many times I've deleted and reinstalled the game trying it out. Try to win using only 2 shields. That also works.

Yeah, Apple will point you towards a template that will guide you through the promo process if they are interested in a possible feature. The request could come a week or the night before they need it. They always keep you on your toes!

Thanks! Looks like there was something buggy about the shield count logic. Got it figured out. I'll fix it this weekend and get it updated! I appreciate the heads up.

Nah saving that for later. I couldn't get anything going that I liked for this round. :)

Yes, I suppose that's true! I had never really thought of that. I'll definitely keep that in mind for a future update. I've added 4 new bosses since launch, so the game is different.

GZ is coming soon!
