Windows / Mac / Flash / HTML5 / The Bunny Story 2 (on Steam Greenlight )
« on: November 17, 2016, 10:01:31 am »
Hello! I just put my game up on Steam Greenlight; and since it's a Stencyl game, I decided to make this topic as well. it's an Animal Adventure RPG.  I wrote a list of small details below. If you want to see more, please see the Steam Greenlight page: Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to up vote it.

The Story revolves around a bunch of animals that came down from the mountains and started attacking the rabbits.  It's your goal to stop them.

Some Details of the game are:

* A small island world with more of a old style to it. With NPCs to talk to, puzzles to solve , secrets to explore, ETC.

* Use several types of weapons to fight off hoards or opposing animals.

* Raise your characters stats by leveling up.

Among other things.

Working on a game I abandoned a long time ago. It's a side scrolling adventure  game where you and your partner have to collect these things  called Luminites. Once you get all 102, it ends, that's pretty much all I have so far.

Left and right Arrow Keys: Move
Z Key: Kick, Pick up partner, Hold onto ledges,  Glide,  Select menu stuff
Up Arrow: Jump, Throw partner upwards. Jump of ledges, Swim.
Down Arrow: Turn partner into stone, Teleport partner.
Z release: Throw partner, Let go of ledges.
Spacebar: Pause game.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to try it out.

Ask a Question / Error using more than one Newgrounds Scoreboard?
« on: July 23, 2015, 10:45:17 pm »
I've been having this problem for a while now, I can't get the game to show more then one scoreboard without restarting the game.
Whichever scoreboard I choose to look at first is the only scoreboard the game will show until I restart the game, regardless  of what I select in the menu. They both work for the most part though.

EDIT: I searched this problem, but the only other thing I found was this topic from last year that didn't get any replies.,36915.msg208669.html#msg208669

Here are the blocks that shows the scoreboards.

Windows / Mac / Flash / HTML5 / Speed test. Does this game run fine to you?
« on: November 10, 2014, 11:21:22 am »
Just a sidescroller where you need to go to the right side of the screen. You press space to pause and use the arrow keys to move.
I just want some feedback on how the game runs on other computers.

Game Art / Is this music passable?
« on: August 07, 2013, 08:43:39 pm »
I been practicing custom music to put in the games I've been working on. I want someone to listen to some of them to see if they're at least decent.

I'm new to music creation and don't expect to make high quality stuff anytime soon. Though I want to know if they're decent enough to put into a game.

They're around 33 seconds or so, thank you for your time!

Game Ideas / Undecided on the level up system for an old game.
« on: July 30, 2013, 03:55:44 pm »
Hello! I decided to go back and continue an old game I was making a long time ago. While I was working on it, I became unsure whether I should keep the level up system that it had.

For those who need more information about the game, it basically plays like the original Legend Of Zelda for the NES. You walk around different lands, use weapons to fight enemies, buy stuff from shops, solve puzzles ETC.

I can't really decide which stat system to use. What do you guys think? I'll just put some pictures here to show what the game looks like.

Game Art / So...about the graphics of my newest game.
« on: June 15, 2013, 12:43:38 am »
I worked a bit on my next game and drew the first tileset and stuff, so I decided I needed some opinions on the graphics before I go any further. The hud, the map in the 4th picture, and some of the background stuff like the trees, mushrooms, bushes, etc. What do you guys think?

Earth Defense is a Space Shooter RPG style game. Fight off enemies in Active Time RPG battles using several different commands.

Battle Controls:

Z. Select Stuff.
X. Go Back.
Arrow Keys: Choose Selection.
Spacebar: Open the Pause Menu.

I just finished the first bit of my newest game! A sequel to an old game of mine, it's a Adventure RPG game that contains a mix of Adventure, Puzzle, and RPG elements. The story is that some animals in the mountains are attacking the rabbits and you must go there to found out why.

The link to the game:

The controls:

Z Key: Action button, does most of the stuff in the game.
Arrow keys: Move Character.
Spacebar: Opens the pause menu.

And here are some of the game's features so you'll know what to expect:

Fight animals with several different types of weapons. Go wide range with the shock wave, fight face to face with the dagger or snipe enemies from afar with carrot gun.

Level up and raise your four stats: Hp, Attack, Ammo and Luck with the stat point system to suit you play style. Be it offensively, defensively, safe from harms way or relying on items and ETC. boost.

Play as a rabbit and take on several other opposing animals. including shell-spinning turtles, spraying skunks, neurotoxic snakes, bloodsucking bats and sword wielding ducks.

Allies that tell you vital information to give you an idea on where to go and shops you could buy items from.

Lots of items to help you along the way like carrots, apples, first-aid kits, cloaking devices and several types of boxes.

A menu where you could check your stats and do stuff in. Including changing the HUD display, changing the volume of both in-game sounds and music, equipping weapons and changing your color. You could save too.

Music from Square Enix and sounds from Nintendo. They're copyrighted from their respective companies and I take no credit from either the game's music or sound affects.

And lastly, the screenshots:

Windows / Mac / Flash / HTML5 / The Bunny Story Area 1 Demo ( V1 Update )
« on: January 10, 2012, 07:15:05 pm »

This is the second version of my demo, The Bunny Story. An adventure game where you fight enemies, solve puzzles, and find treasure chest as you travel the vast region of Colossal Island. This demo contains the whole first area, all the way up to the boss.

The rabbit residents of town live next to this island called Colossal Island. Where giant objects and abnormal wild life are all over the place. A specialized group of rabbits were investigating the forest area when a deep sea dweller started wrecking havoc on a nearby beach. They then send out a scientifically empowered rabbit to deal with it. This rabbit is you.

This is a W.I.P prologue and is NOT in the demo.

Arrow Keys. Move
Z. The main action key.
X. Toggle music ON or OFF.
Space. Pauses and unpauses.
Numbers keys. equips a weapon.

All music and sound effects are copyright of Nintendo.

Everything else was created by me.

Version Changes:

V1 contains several changes that include but are not limited to:

Changes to the tree stump sprite.

Attack range has been increased and you could change direction while attacking.

Most enemies go back further when they take damage, some enemies had their stats and default sprites changed.

Slightly changed the design of some of the areas.

Added a sign that tells you about the stuff in the HUD.

Fixed some other minor graphic and gameplay glitches.

Resolved Questions / [SOLVED] My character keeps going through tiles.
« on: August 30, 2011, 07:13:47 am »
2nd EDIT : All right, I managed to solve it after a good night sleep. I'm good now.

EDIT: I just realized I posted this on the "Resolved Questions " board. Not sure if this is the right one.

My character keeps going through tiles. I want to make it so it stops when it touches a tile yet it only stop when it touches the TOP of the tile. If I touch the tile from anywhere else it just goes right through it :(

I have the tile's collision bounds set to "square"

Here's the Collision code and the type of tiles I'm using:
