Resolved Questions / Can't Test Game
« on: November 15, 2012, 07:09:14 pm »
Hi all,

I know this question has probably been answered countless times, but I can't seem to be able to test out my game. It loads up fine, but then nothing appears. Here is the most recent log if anyone can help me.

Thanks!

Thank you! And I will eventually.

FINALLY, it allowed me to replace the old file. Just an extremely minor graphic update.

Well, I updated the demo, and yet again, it wouldn't let me replace the original. So here's another new link. :V

You could always splice stuff from sites such as, http://spriters-resource.com/, but you'd have to mention the source and stuff in the credits.

Yeah, their sprite style is really cool and the game looks amazing.

In all honesty though, I highly doubt they will give you permission for it. :/

You realize you can't edit that sprite without his permission, right?

Thank you!

I updated the game quite a lot since the last demo, but it's still not letting me replace the existing one on the site. Does that fact that it's a work in progress matter?

Ask a Question / Re: Problem with attributes

Yes I did. I could get rid of the local attribute all together, but how would I replicate this with the game attribute?

Edit: Alright, I figured it out now. Thanks for your help!

I don't know why, but both starting values are 10. And If I reverse the first line, both start out with 0 ammo. :I

All that matters I think is the first line. It's exactly the same for the other behavior.

Ah, true... but I have it in both behaviors and when I switch guns, it goes back to the starting value, not the current one. :/

Ask a Question / Problem with attributes
« on: December 10, 2011, 06:05:24 pm »
Hi, I was just wondering if there was any way to use the same attribute in 2 different behaviors. I have 2 different gun scripts and "Ammo" (A number attribute), is set to 10 on both. When you fire, the ammo will only go down on one gun, and not the other, but I would like the two to share ammo. Is this possible? Thanks.

Welp, none of that showed up, so I just submitted a new one. :V

This demo is quite hard though...

Edit: Does anyone know how I can get the actor to stick to the horizontal moving platform?
