How did you do the rag doll effect when he comes of the bike, is it joints in real time?

I used the ragdoll code not the joints provided in the scene view. I can send you the code if you were interested. I'll send you the whole game if you want. Btw the wheels are animated I had trouble with revolt joints on the wheels supporting the weight of the bike frame and rider.

Maybe a reason it's FPS lowers for you is the trillions of "Region not found"s?

I am not talking specifically about this demo. Sorry I rushed that just to throw it up as a farewell and didnt want to invest too much time looking at its flaws. But I was working on another game after this and my code was decent but fps was not good. It's so easy to get 30 fps in unity if not more.

Btw no offense to the software I think stencyl is great and continue to recommend it to people as a game developing software and as an introduction to programming. It just wasn't suitable for some of the ideas I had in mind that is all.

Hey guys I recently moved over to other projects and unity. I love stencyl so much but for more complex games it suffered in fps. Anyways here is one of my more together games I made before departing. Farewell and good luck to everyone!. Maybe I'll come back for a flash jam of some sort some day.

I loved the spiders they were creepy and the charge mechanic was great. Thats awesome frame rate btw. One thing I forgot to mention the dialogue killed me. It said to press space to advance dialogue so I was hoping it would take away the animation and let me read the whole thing at one but it skips the whole dialogue. And it typed sooo slow I just started skipping it all

maybe zoom in a little. Also idk know if I was supposed to but I had to get out of the sphere to get the first flag in a level, I wanted to jump up with the ball. I feel the more the user has to get out especially early kills the flow of the game, cause everyone wants to go fast in the beginning. Also the graphics could use some work very simple, theres nothing that will catch someones eye. One suggestion, when the ball starts moving a certain speed you should change the character inside into a curled up ball it would be hilarious watching him bounce around inside and plus it looks really un-natural if hes running the whole time. One last thing the little guys controls are horrible. I never found out if I have to jump into the top of the ball to start rolling but it was very hard at first because of the controls.

Theres some good fresh ideas here though!

Its pretty awesome the mood is very good awesome sound. Dont care for the animation so much of the main character. I played until I got to the second floor and it felt a little repettitive but other wise excellent job. Also I dont think the computer needs to be good to play it I think all of the effects and things are really bogging the game down. What frame rate are you getting?

just need to polish things up a bit i think

I dont agree with that you notice how many engines are becoming more user friendly (or less code oriented) due to the fact that there are so many artists and non-programmers that have good creative ideas. Unity is a perfect example, it takes a way from some of the line per line coding.

Just got Retro City Rampage this weekend. (Enjoying what I've seen so far. Really feels like a GTA type game with NES aesthetics)
