Ask a Question / Scaling clickable area of an actor
« on: January 01, 2013, 01:52:34 am »
Hi guys!

When I scale an actor during runtime only it's colission box is scaled and not it's clickable area. Does anyone already stumbled across the same problem? I made a screenshot to visualize my problem. Please have a look...

thanks a lot and a happy new year to everybody

Ask a Question / Re: Position of Mochi Click-Away Ads - solved!
« on: January 02, 2012, 02:12:09 am »
Hi all!

Thanks again Jens for your help.

The only way to get it working was to create the back button holding the delete statement within the Mochi-Click-Away behaviour as there was no way to adress the "adHolder" movieclip from outside.

Now it works perfect!

thanks for your help again
best wishes

Ask a Question / Re: Position of Mochi Click-Away Ads -> Works great!
« on: January 01, 2012, 11:09:55 am »
Hi Jens,

you're a genius - it works like a charme. The only thing is to put "import mochi.as3.*;" besides the movieclip import.

Now there's only one little question: How do I get rid of the ad when I go back to the menu?
I tried some Mochi.unload() and clip.die() things but can't get it to work. Damn - I'm such a poor programmer...  ???

I appreciate your help a lot
thanks

Ask a Question / Position of Mochi Click-Away Ads
« on: January 01, 2012, 06:46:55 am »
Hi guys,

I've been very busy with my latest game and there are only a few things left to do.
One is to ask if anybody was able to help me with Mochi Click-Away ads.

I use this code in a scene behaviour to implement the Click-Away Ad: MochiAd.showClickAwayAd( {clip:FlxG._game, id:GameState.mochiID});
The ad is shown BUT its position is left, top. So here's my question:

Is there an easy way to center Click-Away Ads?
I think I'd need an extra clip to store and adjust the Ad, but I don't know how to do that either...

maybe there's a mochi-ad-implementing super hero waiting for me to help...  ;)

So I've just tried to adapt your work. Hmm... it works great but it isn't what I'm looking for. Since it's hard to describe I've attached 2 images of what I'm trying to achieve...

thanks again

Hi Alexin,

wow, thanks a lot. Sadly I cannot figure out how to implement this in my behaviour...  :-[

Here's what I've got so far:

if a key is down -> for each member of rotatables -> turn "member of group" by x degrees
Can you tell me where to put your mentioned calculation?

regards
Michael
