I see. I've got around 23k downloads and $1k revenue in a month with a previous feature. It was featured only in France, so I expected bigger numbers from your game being globally featured, but it sounds like good numbers anyway. Also, I agree with you on the replayability of your game, it's amazing how the game flow keeps you playing until you have no option than to stop due to real life happening. Any expectations from a future Android port?

Would you mind telling me your screen resolution? I'm amazed at the amount of detail and charm in cramp into few pixels. I also love Cat Bird's atmosphere.

Amazing game. Congrats!
On the Android version though, the game does not unpause after an interstitial ad plays during level mode.

I love Shump! How well did launch week go?

Really cool game. I really like playing it. I have a few questions:

- Did you write your own extension for Unity Ads?
- Why did you decide to go with a publisher?
- How relevant do you think having a publisher was for you getting featured?

Congratulations on the feature! Happy to see Stencylers being successgul :)

Great game, Colburt! Did you use 3.4 or 3.5? Why so?

How well did the game do after the feature @suitcasenuke?

I would like to know the community's thoughts on this too.

Great atmosphere and visuals. I'd say the game would benefit a lot from more depth to the background, and getting the oars was unpleasant due to its luck-based structure. I hope to see more of it soon!

It is featured today in Brazil's Game of the day section. Congrats! Would you share any numbers with us?

Ask a Question / Re: Enemy Life Not Working?

Is the hurt event in a When Updating? Because your character might be detecting a lot of hits at once, so the "life" goes below zero. Try to substitute the "When Life = 0" for a "When Life <=0".

It's a third-party extension you can install on your game to get additional features. Check the extensions section here in the forums and you'll find tutorials and more posts about it.  ;)

Hey Nickamon, have you considered taking your time to learn and practice your pixelart skills?
I'm asking you because you seem to be really active around here and you're always working on your game, but the graphics aspect of your games is a little bit off-putting. I'm telling you this from my own experience of being terrible at any kind of drawing, but by taking some time to read and practice some pixelart tutorials, I got to make some less off-putting sprites myself.

What pixel art tutorials would you recommend?

The compilation dreph posted above is a good one. I'd suggest Derel Yu's tutorial to start (http://makegames.tumblr.com/post/42648699708/pixel-art-tutorial). Also, the best suggestion I saw online is to keep it simple. Start with 32x32 canvas for characters until you feel really confident about it. I used only this size for my first game and I don't feel confident to go bigger than that yet.
Regarding software, I used GraphicsGale at first because it's free, but then I bought Aseprite and it is totally worth your money.

And now I've done Alice.

1) Alice from the main gameplay of PT1-4
2) Alice from Poppytail 2's "Lock It In" minigame (without suit)
3) Alice from Pixeltail
