When trying to make "Crash Course 2", I ran into a bug I think that might particularly have to do with my computer, given how easy it is to run into.

I was creating the code to move my ship left to right, and switched to the Attributes to set the speed (did not manage to, but I did later after restarting Stencyl). When I returned to the Palette tab, everything look normal. But when I scrolled up and down, some of it was filled up with some other part of the Stencyl UI (which I could not indicate). Worse, when I went back into the Attributes, and into Favorite, some of the parts inside the tabs (Attributes, Palette, and Favorite) was covered up by a mix of the surrounding interface, all fragmented looking, and covering anything that would be behind it.

It is sort of hard to explain, and I tried taking a picture of it with a button in Stencyl, but it only took a picture of the code I was making. I got the logs part, and another after restarting Stencyl, but it did not seem to do it anymore. But would the Logs happen to contain any data that might prove harmful, like my password? I am sure it doesn't, but just wanna be sure..
Computer Specs:
512 MB Ram (though specification finding software says around 900, guessing that is OS only RAM)
1.99 Gigahurtz Single core AMD 3400+ Sempron
Ati Radeon Xpress 200 integrated graphics
Windows XP 32 bit.

Ask a Question / Any grid spacing in Pencyl?
« on: November 23, 2013, 10:20:31 am »
I want to use pixel art for my game, but I can't seem to align it correctly. I looked through most of the tools I could find on Pencyl, but nothing seemed to work right. Any suggestions?  :-\
EDIT: I thought I might add that Grid Spacing should help me align it correctly (for those who might not know what it does), and that I can't seem to adjust the size of the Pencil.

Looks pretty cool! Unfortunately, I got no phone, but I might be able to play it on one of my siblings.  :)
The art work looks professional too. By the way, any intentions for the Googleplay store? I am not sure if it is fully supported on Stencyl, but that would open it up to tons of more players.

(My first post on forums, woo!  :P)
First game I played on Stencyl, and I have to say, one of my favorites! I tried out the original Dangerous Dungeons, along with the Christmas Edition, but out of the entire 'Trilogy', this one was the most memorable.  :D
The controls were fun and responsive, did not experience a single flaw with them, and the feature to where I can collect upgrades like the Power Glove and Throwing Knives by finding chest at the end of obstacles added a nice element. It is indeed, tiny, and according to the map, I have yet to explore two more areas, and some of the ones it says I already explored I have yet to complete. There is this one gap between me and a giant tempting chest I am still trying to conquer.
Speaking of moments inside the game, I was able to smash all three arrows (epic) when you go to get the (spoiler?) Throwing Knives (spoiler?) with that stone wall I was able to push via the Power Gloves, however this did not work on enemies  ;).
Overall, awesome new game! Keep up the good work.  :)

EDIT: I did not realize that when I watched my sister play, the darkened areas on the map do not mean it is unexplored. Sorry if there was any confusion.
