if you're doing an android game, id suggest you start with a name/game type that has decent search/market recognition. check out your target genre category, see whats popular these days, try and make something original, but link it to pre-existing name recognition (thats ideal for indies that cant afford a marketing ad budget).

theres a check box in settings>mobile that overrides back button. once done, go to settings/controls and bind esc. key to the action you want the back button to perform.

Inspired by dont tap white tile by HU Wan Zeng. Special thanks to my art contributors and course, the stencyl team, without whom this could not be possible. Looking forward to play services integration in upcoming stencyl builds so i can add leaderboards, social sharing etc.

Guys, ive put up a feature request at the stencyl update forums for this plugin to be made an official part of all stencyl releases, so all of us including david can benefit from it without version issues each time core stencyl upgrades.

Andrew, david is the guy who made the plugin. Im just using it and im not exactly sure how it works. The plugin was working perfectly for stencyl 3.0, due to the new admob sdk all of us have had to move to stencyl 3.2 and now there are some compatibility issues. The only progress ive made so far for 3.2 is that there are no compile errors, but the facebook post dialogue doesnt appear when the post block is called within stencyl.

David is the only guy who can help out ATM. Lets hope he finds time to get this up n running.

After copying the intheboxmacros 1.4 files directly into the facebook extension folder ( i copied them into plaf/haxe folder as well), the game compiles properly, generated a keyhash too. but on the dialogue call, the dialogue box (for posting) is not displayed. debug key generated and submitted to FB, id etc. generated properly as well.

logs generate the following:

getting the following error when i try to compile with only the facebook id and keyhash call (no post called yet).

Found out the issue. need to unzip the extension, get the 'facebook' subfolder and re-zip the subfolder only, then use that for auto installation through the 'install extension' option under extensions tab in settings. trying to compile through droid, lets see how it goes. (stencyl 3.2 build 7598)

trying to install the extension for 3.2, its not showing up in the extensions list when im doing it manually. pointing to the zip file (auto) doesnt work either. any thoughts on how to install it? thanks. did it manually for 3.0 and it worked easily. help appreciated (droid)

Peace everyone.
Here's my third title, a comedy cartoon finger runner called  ' Follow the line - PouPou'. It makes use of the popular finger running genre with a bit of search term recognition mixed with it.

Again, stencyl proved to be flawless in terms of stability for my algos. im pretty sure debugging this on andengine or other prevalent platforms wouldve taken months.  Can't thank the team enough for their effort.
Special thanks to Jon and his peers for making such a great, accessible platform. Also, thanks to the FB plugin contributors and the entire stencyl community for making this possible.
