Is this out yet? Or, if not, when will it be out.

Thanks captain.

@osterzone @ wishy,

First double check with the stencyl sample game:

1. Open Alien Approach
2. Open Level 1
3. Select Behavior Tab
4. You see " Click here to choose a behavior ..."
5. Click it
6. Do you see a bunch of behavior under From Your Library. There should be around 9 of them.

Do the same thing for Actor and try Add behavior and look at "From your Library"

Ok, there was behaviors in the Actor's "from your library" part, but I tried the same thing for the scene behaviors, and got the same thing as my screen-shot showed. I do think that I'd be able to make some better games with what I do have though.

Check the behaviors folder under the Stencyl directory to see whether the behaviors are on disk or not. If they aren't there, then it's the fault of the server/autobuilder.

Yeah, they are there. So how should I Download them, because I don't really want to slowly import them one at a time, if I can help it?

Hi. When I open a game, old or new, and look at where the pre-shipped behaviors should be, there is only one. Will the others come when Stencyl 2 is "fully out"?

I think that it would help players like me, if there was solutions to more of the Challenges like there is for the Chapter 3 Challenges.

@oster - All of that is covered here. Did this article not stand out in the outline/table of contents? (Let me know if a better title would have made it stick out)

I saw it, but, like I had said, I don't fully understand what I should put, or where.

Will the information on the Kong API thing be fixed up too? I don't know how and where to work with it.

Resolved Questions / Stencyl 2.0 Problem?
« on: March 16, 2012, 10:06:13 am »
Hi. I just downloaded the Stencyl 2.0 "Nightly Build" beta thing, and when I tried to use Stencylpedia, everything I clicked in all the lists took me online to

I think its supposed to take me to a built in article, like the first Stencylpedia had.

What are "production games"?

Go to File > Workspace and click "View Workspace". Your games are located in the folder "games".

Ok, even though I'm on a Mac, I found my Workspace. Now what?

I don't have the Nightly Build thing set up. How do I set it up? and where should I save it, cause the one post said not to put the beta over the current Stencyl.

Old Bugs (1.x/2.x) / Top-down racing bug?

I'd played the Kit, and, when I beat the race, with a very slow time, this error appeared.

You can make a text game attribute for this.  So if left is pressed, set [color] to red, and load the next scene.  The next scene can then have a behavior saying if [color] = red, change player color to red.

Oh. I almost forgot to say that I don't Understand what you meant by this. Though it sounds kinda like what I'm trying to do.

Here's the 3rd, and I don't remember where it's attached. I think that I won't need at least one of these.
