I'd really like to use this also, even if there's a few issues.

It's not the target (player) that is dying. It's the enemies. If an enemy dies, that error instantly comes up.

Well, I got it to work, and the enemies follow the player fine, no lag. I put this at the beginning:
for each actor of type Player{
set Target to the actor
}

However, there's still an issue. The player can fire bullets to kill the enemies, but now, if an enemy dies, I get a #1009 Null Reference error. I can't think of why this is happening.

##### Ask a Question / Calculating Direction and Distance Lag Problem

I'm trying to calculate the direction and distance from one actor to another, and to then follow that actor if the distance is within a certain range. The purpose is for the enemies to follow the player.

The first behavior kept everything in the "Always" block. It worked well for a single enemy. However, when I added 2 or more enemies, it became extremely laggy.

I tried fixing it by moving the calculations to a loop than ran every 1 second. But instead, it simply comes up with an error message: "Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference." I attached the behavior.

Anyone know how to get this working?
