No everything is in AS3 or other languague but with the Extension changing them to Haxe made them work

(i have no knowledge about that but someone managed to do a extension with a authentication but not the kongregate one with a user created on their platform, then do a timestamp request it work fine)

Hello everyone,

I have just released the beta of my game (there is still a few work to be done, and working on additionnal content)

I'm using stencyl to make the game (i dont have any knowledge in coding or in any languague)

I'm looking for a collaborator who will have as main task setup a authentication with a platform called Gamesparks to request the timestamp, save/load data over their server, and add the virtual goods in the game. (an extension is already made for the SDK of their platform to work with stencyl)

it's the same problem with number...

Once you do a rand 1-3 and get 2

then you unlock bonus 2

but when u random again its still 1-3 or even if everytime u lower the random number its 1-2 but in this exemple the bonus with number 2 is already unlocked :-(

This is what i tryed to make sadly once bonus 1 = true if the random is again 1 it do nothing but the cost to unlock a 2nd one is paid :-(

Hello Stencyler,

I am working on the last and maybe the part i dislike the most because after month working on a game i still haven't figure how to manage this one so let me explain

I have created 10 actor that will give the player a bonus (each actor give a different bonus) but to get them you have to pay (with a game currency that is really rare), i could have do a simple system with a fixed price and you choose which actor you want first but no... i would like the player to click on the buy button and it choose a random actor and unlock that actor (the bonus)

The first thing i was thinking at is do a "random number" and if its = 1 it unlock the 1st / if its = 2 it unlock the 2nd, but when it unlock the first if the random number is 1 and again... it do nothing

I'm pretty lost i also tryed with a list but can't manage to get something working

So all my actor (bonus) are locked with a boolean once its bought the boolean is true and the bonus is activated

Anyone have a solution to make activate these boolean randomly ? without choosing the same one 3 times ?

Hello i have added this extension to calculate offline gain

I have a weird bug i wanted to use it but everytime i use the 2 block

Convert in and get current timestamp the result in Min Hour or Day is always in minus "-" ... (i dont round it)

I wanted to add a daily reward system based on the current day and current day - 1 but right now it show my current day at something like -20.30594020 ....

Hello everyone,

I been making a game with Stencyl, the game got pretty big and very nice and i wanted to add a few in game goods with kreds over kongregate.
(I’m not a coder i just put stencyl block together so i’m pretty useless when something require real coding thing)

I wanted my game to have a anti cheat so for that people told me that i need to have the game data for each player stored on a server.

From that point i asked a few people around if they would be able to do it and most told me that with .swf file it’s not possible due to a violation in the adobe policy…

So from now i’m really lost on what to do to see my game getting finished and published with in game goods and a wait to prevent cheating

Because if i am not wrong the kongregate policy on goods ask to prevent cheating and the only way to do it is with a online save…

If there is anyone around that could help me leave me on what to do now, if i should try to make the game in another format (html5 or even try something else) or if what i say is totally false and people can do online save and in game goods with swf file etc…

Hello Stencylers,

It's been a few month i'm working on a Idle RPG and thing went pretty well till now, i have managed to make all the feature i wanted to work correctly with a good overall balance

As i'm getting closer and closer to my goal (finish a game at 100%) i still miss a few answer and feature i would like to add to the game so i will list them here and if there is anyone that could answer them or even give me a little help (by teaching me how to do these feature or even by helping me directly to make them and see if it work)

So first of all it's a regular question about a online save (which i still don't know how to make but the game will have one), i have read that it require to use the block "POST data to a URL" so my first though were that it was cool and easy but as i have no coding knowledge and have no idea how a server etc work my 2nd though was... do i have to send all the "game attribute" to the server to save the player stats etc... ?
I have used... sadly because i didn't though of that earlier a little more than 500 "game attribute" ... if i have to store them all it's gonna be really long, laggy etc... so if someone know if this is going to be ok then i'm going to keep it like that, otherwise i may just find a way to store all those "game attribute" in a list then use a when created and set back all game attribute to the right list line (but this is going to take me a long time to figure out how to do that so that's why i ask here before doing something that i don't need to do)

Then come the timestamp, i been using a extension to get timestamp from the computer clock, but with a online save i would like to use a online timestamp (so people can't cheat by just making the computer clock go 10 days ahead) so i went over the forum and found someone that have talked about a "Visit URL" block to request the timestamp (i did a few try but well it's totally wrong what i do because i don't even understand how this block work, which website i have to visit etc....) so if someone could explaing me that in a "baby language" because it's really hard for me to understand anything over there as i'm not a coder :-( most post are unreadable to me

Last of all it's about the online save, i would like to have more detail on how to proceed because i have absolutely no idea how to do that except that you need to use the "POST" block mentionned above... and again i have no knowledge of what a server is (except that it stock data or something else) but on how to make it work to manage it and even to get it (i think i have no server lol)

So if someone is willing to help or even teach me how to do these feature and make me learn something new, or if someone who know how to do that would like to work with me as the game is 50% finished (few balance / graphic / and 1 or 2 more feature to add but it won't be a problem at all for me to make them) i'm open to offer and would be glad to hear from you

(forgot to mention that my whole game is running on 1 scene with feature that open as popup, which maybe i don't is easier to make normal attribute and not game attribute to do a list save etc from my 1st question about what need to be sent to save player game)

I have just added the Data extension to my game that calculate offline gain (it work perfectly)

Sadly it take the time from my laptop (which i was expecting) but to avoid people from cheating i would like to know if there is a way to use this extension and instead of making a new time with it when you reopen the game, just take the time from a server or any other way so the player can't cheat and make the game just jump 3 days ahead in offline ?

I found why i got this error it was because of my background image

I had 2 and removed 1 and had a when created hide both (on the scene) but what is strange is that before moving my actor (on stencyl) when i was running the game it was perfectly fine

but once i was moving the actor a bit on the scene (on stencyl) after opening the game i was getting this error .... really weird so if anyone encounter i have fixed that by taking of the hide background line

From this point even when i replace the hero at his old position i still get the error, and it appear that many "drawing" has disapear but all the behavior attached to the scene are still all good and attached... so i have no idea what's happening as if i don't move my hero my file is running and working 200% fine.... (sadly i really have to move the hero as i have draw a new one and his position have to change...) if anyone got a idea "help me" :-(

Well this is a good idea but it's a little more complicated as it's a long game with no real end so based on your exemple it won't make it

So far i use as base formula 6*exp(moblvl^(0,6+exp(-moblvl))*Ln(2)) this is for the hp and i adjust this to the rest like gold exp diamond wood stone special item the dungeon hp dungeon reward the arena the pet the minion the conquest the the the

(Yes i made a really big game and i think someone that really know how to balance a game with that many attribute using advanced math formula to adjust the different value)
If there is anyone that ever balanced such a game i m open to give him the game and take a long time to explain the full concept... sadly a lot of feature i used in the game are pretty awsome and don't want to just explain the concept everywhere

So my request is the following i need someone that is good with advanced math to make a rpg path very cool and not linear like the exemple you gave me but more with formula like the one i have wrote here sorry if this is still confusing but as i said i already have tester and everything to finish the game all we miss is someone that is good in math and could give a good balance to the game (after what our tester will test the game, then if someone isn't good he will have to adjust his formula to make it faster / slower etc....)

Also my english is not perfect at all so thats maybe why it's so confusing when i talk :-(
