Fixed Bugs (3.x) / Downloaded version 3.4.0 (Beta) but version number is still 3.3.2?

Hi,

I just downloaded version 3.4.0 (Beta) for both Windows and OSX and when checking the version number it still says that it is version 3.3.2?

Is this because version 3.4.0 is not available or is it an error in version numbering.

I am trying to get the most recent version with all the bug fixes.
