Is this for personal use?

I thought Apple already dropped the support and phased out 32bit apps, since iOS 11.

Even for the desktop macOS will stop the support as early as next month.

You can publish to Flash and HTML5 with the free version.
Well, when the time comes for the Flash to end, you still have HTML5.
Maybe they will include WebAssembly next on the free version?

You might want to use a different image hosting site other than Cubeupload.

Some antivirus blocked that site,
because in the past someone upload a virus infected .exe disguised as an image file on that site.

I was wondering for a while now, why my antivirus detected a malware every time I go to a thread you post.

I read elsewhere in the forums that stencyl builds a 32 bit game by default, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Didn't realize the latest private build now compiled to 64bit.
Good to hear, at least for me.
No longer need to modified the compiled .exe to be able to use up to 4GB of Ram, from 3.5GB.

It used to be 32bit by default for the .exe.
If I'm not mistaken the public build, b9300 is still compiling to 32bit.

Just change the :
width = 40 tiles(1280 pixels)
height = 23 tiles(736 pixels),
this will make the "Scene" have a bit of extra 16 pixels for the height.

Then, just adjust the camera (if needed). The extra pixels will just be outside of the "Monitor Screen" anyway.
The "Screen(display)" size, you can just leave it at 1280x720.

Looking at gsmarena site,
iPhone 5s, 5c, 6, and 6 plus,
all of them only have 1GB of RAM.

But, 6 and 6 plus, have a bigger resolution. With 6 plus having the biggest one.
Because of that, I got a feeling you are left will less RAM than 5s and 5c to use for your game.

Have you tried limiting your memory usage per scene using Atlases?
Alternatively, try removing the 4x scale (if you are using them).
Just let the 6 plus to load the 3x assets, instead of 4x.
You can barely notice the difference between 3x and 4x playing it on iPhone/iPad.

All Stencyl games published to Windows will always be 32bit executable,
no matter if you are on 64bit or 32bit Windows.

You can check Windows Task Manager, under Processes, you can see : [Game Name] *32
It means that executable is a 32bit application.

After you have compiled your game (publish > desktop > Windows),
right click that published game folder,
and select : Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder
Then upload that Zip file to GameJolt.

Compressed the folder into a Zip file, and upload that.
Just starting the .exe without the other files, will not work.
It needs all of them together.

Alter the Java in that VM.
See if it helps.

Stencyl 3.5 is now using the latest updated OpenFL, among other things.
Also have some changes on the Engine side.
With that, comes a few things that are currently broken.
One of it, is scaling. It doesn't scale up/down properly when set to fullscreen.
Nothing will be killed off, just need a bit of fixing.

It just meant that its the Final version for Stencyl 3.4. No more 3.4 beta version.
Not the last Stencyl.

Stencyl 3.4.0 final = build 9300.
Current private Stencyl version is Stencyl 3.5 beta (build 9480), released 3 weeks ago.

Erm.... You supposed to install that Java (JRE), not just put it in the Stencyl folder....
That's not how it works.

I got a feeling your PC is using a 32bit Java (JRE), that is currently already installed in your laptop.
You need the 64bit version.

Download the latest "Windows x64 Offline" version (2nd from the bottom) :
(You can uninstall the current one in your PC from the Control Panel)
After you download from the link above, double click it, and install it.

Then, right click the "Stencyl.bat" file, and select "edit" (this will open Notepad).
Change the bold part like below.

 -jar sw.jar

The first bold part "java^", this will use the JRE installed in your PC.
If you leave this untouched, it will use the Java in the Stencyl folder instead, located in "..\Stencyl\runtimes\jre-win\"

You can increase the second bold part, 4096 (4GB Ram) above if you need more.
Since you have 8GB, do not go more than 6GB (6144), leave some to your Operating System.
Save the file.
And launch the .bat file.
Hope this helps.

Side Note :
You can just safely remove the _JAVA_OPTIONS environment variable.
Otherwise the method above will not work.
