Lots of things do not work well, or at all, in Simple Physics. Does it work with normal physics?

What happened, really?

Joints, huh? I remember that, time ago, I started to prototype a game about a guy with a flail, and attacked by spinning, had a whole bunch of joints.

Ask a Question / Re: Actor not pushing continuously

In the "push..." block, select the "sharply" option instead of "gently".
So far it seems to work (after reducing the force from 200 to 3, or else it shot like a bullet, haha)

Instead of pushing, try setting an xspeed value instead to whatever goes on the conveyor belt. Hope this helps.
It appears to work, but then the character cannot move with or against the conveyor direction

Ask a Question / Actor not pushing continuously
« on: October 17, 2016, 05:32:13 pm »
Hello,  I'm making a conveyor belt actor that should push to the right anything that collides with it, but it's not doing so consistently, usually it pushes once and stops until the pushed actor moves significantly. How could I fix this?
Attached are the blocks and an example gif.

Hi! Maybe there's a more elegant solution for this, but what I found out that works is editing the player's collision boxes, making it a polygon instead of a box, and cutting the corners so they don't catch on something, you can see it in this updated file with the player_black actor.

About the file size, it's that big because it saves multiple versions of each image to display them at different scales, if you disable those scales in "Setting" and publish it to flash, it only weights 4 megs. But you can't do it with the .stencyl file, it seems.

I hope this helps!

Ask a Question / Re: Best way to make irregular terrain?
« on: September 10, 2016, 05:12:07 pm »
As far as I can see,  there is not a way to edit a terrain.

As an alternative to actors, you could also use a foreground (although it would be more difficult to adjust it)

Ask a Question / What happened to the Arcade?
« on: September 10, 2016, 04:55:41 pm »
I remember the Arcade, where you could check games people had uploaded, but I don't see it anymore in the site. Yet, I can still access the games i put on it via my profile. What happened to it?
