You have to divide your sounds up onto separate channels.
You can put regular sounds on a channel and in fact should as it allows you more control over your sound in general.

Hey guys!
So I stumbled across this website http://www.nuggeta.com/how-it-works

It seems to offer a wide array of different API goodies as well "cross platform realtime multiplayer"

The site provides skeletons to get your game up and running.

I'm not that experienced and I have no idea if this could be implemented in a stencyl game seeing as it supports both Flash (AS3) and HaXe.

Would love to hear from you.

Resolved Questions / Spawning bullets on rotated actors. (SOLVED)
« on: April 08, 2014, 12:03:31 am »
Ok so here's the deal. I'm trying to get this battleship to fire bullets from its guns.
(work in progress)

But I'm running into an issue when I rotate the actor. The (x,y) coordinates stay the same no mater the direction. This causes the bullets and smoke effect to spawn in the wrong place.
(The numbers are the current direction)

I'm wondering if anyone knows how I might resolve this.
Thanks :)

Most probably with distance joints. Each string is probably drawn dynamically, but it could also be a bunch of tiny actors as string fragments.

I'm just wondering how he kept up his framerate.

Spiderling is a cool game that kind of went under the radar.

Ask a Question / Tile Bloodstain Decal. (Updated)
« on: January 25, 2014, 08:12:10 pm »
Hello there!

I took the advise to use decals to achieve a bloodstain on my tileset.

But I'm pretty incompetent. I have the decal being created at the point where the blood spray meets the tiles. In some areas it looks great! In others...well...it looks god awful.

So my question is this: How can I not have the decal spawn on the edge tiles for the roof? I may be overlooking something but i have no idea how to call the location of a specific tile.

As always thanks for the help.
