What behaviors does your player actor have?

Are you positive you SET your actor to the right collision group?

The browser isn't opening. And I don't have a popup blocker. I'm pretty sure its not registering...

Ask a Question / Mouse click not working
« on: November 11, 2012, 03:21:06 pm »
I set up a simple "click to go to url" actor button. But when I click the button, nothing happens.
It seems as if my mouse click isnt working?

Is it because my game is flash - IOS, do I need to make it think its a touch event?

Even photoshop is good.
Just use 1 pixel pencil tool.

There are lots of tutorials for these kind of things in photoshop.

I actually just realised, if you download a behavior etc, from stencylforge, and you don't have all their attributes etc, they don't carry across with the behavior. This could be the problem. I may be missing some stuff.
*bump

So when I copied the behaviors into my game, they were missing the attributes so other attributes were subbed in. I made all the same attributes you had in your test and put them in place to make the blocks look exactly like yours were.

But when I press my button... Nothing. Any ideas?
Actually, I tried to set up a simple click on a button and go to browser webpage button and that doesn't even work.
Maybe its my mouse click that's not working?

There was one that had no details where the HZ should be. So I deleted it and it seemed to fix the problem.

Probably just delete these posts lol.

Thanks Rob.

Ask a Question / Exporting SWF with sound problem
« on: November 10, 2012, 07:26:47 pm »
So I tried a text export of the game today.
I get the unable to export error when trying to export with sound. I duplicated my game, took out the sound and it exported fine.

I don't understand because all my sound is mp3?

Stencyl would be a great option.
It is very easy to make simple click and touch events with visuals to show when its happening.

If you are making something like garage band drums, this will work well with stencyl.

I noticed some "knock back" in the code. Do I need that behavior for it to work properly?
