Hello StencylFolks,
I am trying to make a runner-esque game and I want to make it all myself as it is for a competition. I would Like to know how to make the tiles generate every so often, in specified positions. All help is appreciated but I need it fast because the compo is only 10 days long. Thanks in advance to all help.

Thanks but I would prefer to use the design mode. Any other suggestions? Also I want to to use pre-created platforms, ie: i have platforms already made and it picks from them at random.

Hello stencylers,
I currently am trying to make a game which is a mix of a platformer and those iPod games where you keep the ball from touching the top of the screen while platforms come up from the bottom. I was wondering how to make the platforms appear at random? All help is appreciated and please make haste as this is for a 10 day game challenge, and I lack time.

Thanks to you all. I have gone through the tutorial and I will use your ideas. Thanks for the help. The main reason I wanted to make my own is to make it so I may soon be independent to StencylForge and be able to make my own code.
