Extensions / Re: SteamWrap (for Greenlit Games)

Any idea if this works on Linux? Anyone tested it? (By the way, thanks for the extension, works great and is easy to implement on Windows)

Did you ever try using a Linux VM to port your game?

What it says in the title. The game is already on steam, but some people are asking for a Linux port, and though Mac and Linux users make up a tiny percentage of users on steam, I'd like to be able to include them.

Thanks for the extension Rob and Denver! It was really helpful.

Can we have a look at your game? We promise to be nice.
I might post a link after the green light page is up.

Ah.

7
Makes sense. What did you do to advertise your game when it was on steam greenlight? Just curious.

I've done plenty of my own research, but I just thought I'd see what the community here thought. I'm currently working on the trailer.

Thanks letmethink, that fixed it.
This really should be officially changed in future Stencyl releases.

Fixed Bugs (3.x) / [bug]Pressing escape switches the game to windowed mode
« on: February 12, 2016, 12:05:52 am »
If you've toggled fullscreen at least once before, and are in currently in fullscreen, pressing esc will switch the game to windowed.
None of my code tells the game to do that. Esc isn't even a control in the game settings.

Extensions / Re: Extension Request: Raycasting

I fairly randomly placed the tiles, and there are quite a few spots where one actor "sees" the target actor, or another actor, even though there are tiles in the way.

Hmm... I wonder why I'm having the problem.

http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,43671.msg246700.html#msg246700

The problem has happened to others, but unfortunately posed the solution didn't work for me.

To be more specific about what happens, for some reason when I use the "first actor on line" block, it sometimes ignores tiles when the line is at a certain angle.  As long as the arrangement of actors and tiles is the same it will recognize or ignore the tiles the same every time, but I don't see any pattern for when it does and doesn't detect tiles.

This happens to me fairly often too.

It works fine with actors, but is incredibly inconsistent with tiles. Does it work fine with tiles in your game?
